 At Carrus, we work together to give our customers the best possible experience with their (golf)cart, parts and accessories. At the same, time we want to bring new life into used (golf)carts that are far from finished after their first few years. Of course, these refurbished products offer the best quality for the best price.

What are refurbished or a-quality carts?

Refurbished (golf)carts are (golf)carts that, after active usage by someone else, are checked, tested are repaired if necessary, to try to meet the same standards that new products have. These carts are then sold for a lower price than new carts, but still provide (nearly) the same standards. This gives the carts a second chance.

This does mean that the (golf)carts can have (barely) visible signs of use. An accurate state of the golf carts can be checked through pictures on the website.

Refurbishment process at Carrus

A refurbished golf cart at Carrus is a golf cart that went through the refurbishment process. The process covers both external and internal parts of the (golf)cart. This means that the optical and technical condition of the golf cart are checked.

Optical check

• Tires get replaced if the current tires do not meet safety standard
• Windows get replaced if broken or lost
• Body panels get replaced if broken or lost
• Seats get replaced if torn or lost
• Stickers get removed
• The cart gets cleaned and polished

Technical check

• Used carts are in good technical condition (both electric and fuel engines)
• Controller settings are set to factory default
• Battery cables and nuts are refreshed
• All battery terminals are injected with Vaseline spray to protect against corrosion 
• Batteries are charged
• Charger is checked
• Lead Acid batteries are (re)filled
• Batteries are replaced at additional cost (optional)

Things to note

• Existing battery packs with low voltages can result in a not working charger
• Existing battery packs are not tested for capacity
